NGL announces new partnership to benefit funeral homes

NGL is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Stephanie Castagnier Dunn and Walker Posey for an educational series on a variety of preneed industry topics. Dunn and Posey are offering NGL partner funeral homes an opportunity to receive complimentary analysis of their funeral home business and strategic development for overall business enhancements.

“As a leader in the preneed industry, we are continuously looking for ways to serve our funeral home partners. NGL believes the legacy and success of the funeral home business is important and that includes understanding the need for lending, business planning and future revenues through preneed insurance. We feel it should be easier for funeral homes to find the optimal finance solution if they are expanding, planning for the next generation or looking to make improvements,” said Steven M. Phelps, NGL Vice President and Director of Preneed Marketing.

Stephanie Castagnier Dunn is Senior Vice President, SBA Division National Sales Manager at First Bank SBA. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the banking and lending industries. Dunn is dedicated to the funeral industry and has been featured on the cover of American Funeral Director Magazine as one of the “Nation’s Most Active Funeral Home Loan Experts.” She is offering her expertise on debt refinance, succession planning and strategic expansion. “I have made it my mission to understand the evolving needs of the funeral home business. Every situation is unique and I pride myself on developing a personal approach to solve their business needs. I work tirelessly to help make dreams a reality by creating a lending solution that best suits the business’s goal,” said Dunn.

Walker Posey, owner of W.S. Posey Holdings & Posey Funeral Directors is a fourth generation funeral director. As Posey worked to successfully transition ownership of his family firm, his understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with generation transition deepened. Posey is offering a SWOT analysis using his real-world experience with brand development and technology for funeral homes to work on a long-term operational strategy as part of their succession plan. “The funeral industry is a part of who I am. As a fourth generation funeral director, I understand the complexities that come with the business. Working with First Bank SBA and NGL has helped my business so much that I am passionate about giving back and sharing the knowledge I’ve gained with my colleagues,” said Posey.
