Matt McKearn promoted to Regional Vice President, Sales

Matt McKearn has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Sales at National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL). McKearn joined NGL in 2015 as the New Business Supervisor and during his tenure with NGL has navigated various roles encompassing underwriting, claims, new business, product development and most recently, Agent Solutions Supervisor, as he advanced his way to Regional Vice President, Sales.

In his new role as Regional Vice President, Sales, McKearn will focus on developing and enhancing Preneed business development opportunities with NGL’s marketing organizations, independent agents and agencies. He will work closely with Jennifer Kaset, Vice President, Sales and Business Development as she assists NGL’s Marketing Partners in growing their Preneed sales.

Prior to joining NGL, McKearn was an Individual Life Underwriter at Madison National Life Insurance Company where he managed the simplified issue life products, maintained relationships with vendors and worked on application and product development.

McKearn holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Healthcare Business from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Additionally, he has received his ALMI and Associate, Customer Service designations from LOMA, as well as an Academy of Life Underwriting certification.

McKearn is married and enjoys spending time and building memories with his wife and children. He coaches youth football and baseball, as well experiencing the outdoors through hunting and fishing.
