National Guardian Life Insurance Company Sponsors the 2023 Conference of African American Financial Professionals
National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 17th Annual Conference of African American Financial Professionals (CAAFP) held in Chicago. Hosted by The American College of Financial Services, the conference was August 7-9 and is the largest gathering of African American financial professionals that provides an opportunity for education, networking, and engagement.
“The keynote speakers were insightful and thought-provoking. They had memorable presentations with concepts that made you think more deliberately on the topic of reclaiming Black wealth and what that means,” shared Christin Blotz, Talent Development & DEI Partner at NGL.

It was amazing to be part of a conference that felt so welcoming, insightful, and consequential to the African American community.”
“Since this was my second consecutive year attending the conference, I was already familiar with CAAFP and the cultural exchange it offered. Yet, this year brought forth a new agenda for the event. The message was clear: the moment had arrived for the African American community to take action. Participants were called on to unite and formulate concrete plans to reclaim Black wealth. Last year’s conference leaned more toward raising awareness, this conference was centered on the pivotal need for organization and strategy,” said Tlacaelel Contreras, Account Success Associate at NGL.
