NGL launched its new Medicare Supplement product on May 1, 2018. It is currently available in 11 states with plans to expand nationally. Medicare Supplement provides additional coverage to a person's existing Medicare plan.

NGL was presented with the 2018 Partners for Change Award during the Madison-area Urban Ministry (MUM) annual luncheon on April 24. NGL has supported MUM for five years and recently made a multi-year commitment totaling $75,000 to aid in the renovation of MUM's Healing House.

NGL announced a new partnership with Stephanie Castagnier Dunn and Walker Posey for an educational series on a variety of preneed industry topics. Dunn and Posey are offering NGL partner funeral homes the opportunity to receive complimentary analysis of their business.

13 NGL employees participated in the Polar Plunge on February 17 for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Combining the employees' fundraising efforts, NGL's matching gifts and Presenting Sponsorship; more than $20,000 was donated to benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin.

NGL and its subsidiaries reported a record sales year of $790 million in 2017, which is an increase of 8% over 2016. The 2017 sales results contributed to the growth of the consolidated statutory assets to $4.3 billion.
