Before the conference kicks off, NGL’s Leigh Klemencic, Assistant Vice President of Marketing Communications, will moderate the Future of Deathcare Summit’s “Technology, Marketing & Digitalization: The Future of Preneed Service Delivery” panel session. The summit is one day only, Oct. 24, held at the Charlotte Convention Center.
On Oct. 25, we celebrate women in deathcare at the annual ReConnect event, held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Charlotte Convention Center, sponsored by NGL. Conference attendees are invited to join us in celebrating accomplishments, networking and growing together. And while she can’t attend the convention, we’ll also honor 2026 Inspiration Award winner Jennifer Schlosser, co-owner of Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The convention officially kicks off on Monday, Oct. 26, with NGL-sponsored keynote speaker and innovation strategist Shawn Kanungo. Shawn is also the author of the bestselling book The Bold Ones, which dives into using innovation and disruption to remain relevant and competitive in your industry. Catch him as part of the opening session from 9:30 to 11:45 a.m.
Directly after, Shawn will head to NGL’s booth #1331 on the show floor for a book signing from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
