At NGL, our focus is about people – from our policyholders and marketing partners to our employees and the communities in which we live and work.
Our company embodies this belief in all aspects, including financial support to community programs and encouraging employees to give back. Our community involvement is ingrained in everything we do and that extends through our employees.
Employee Giving and Volunteerism
Our very generous employees give their time and their money to support causes that are most important to them. Because we appreciate their thoughtful act of giving back, NGL is proud to offer eight work hours per year of paid time for employees to volunteer at a nonprofit.
Many employee volunteer efforts go above and beyond. To recognize their exemplary efforts, NGL developed a volunteerism series to include interviews with employees.
This month NGL is proud to feature the 35 NGL employees who volunteer for Home Health United Meals on Wheels. NGL and its employees have participated in the program for more than 30 years! That equals 31,000+ meals delivered throughout the years.
NGL employees shared why they volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Click here to read why they give back.
In addition, each employee who donates to an eligible nonprofit of their choice has the opportunity to double the impact of their gift through NGL's Matching Gift Program.
NGL is fortunate to offer financial support to many organizations. We are honored to give back and address areas of need in the community. NGL's corporate giving is focused on specific areas, including health and human services, education, and the arts.
Please go to our Newsroom for additional details on NGL's donations and activities in the community.

The River Food Pantry is one of the local nonprofit organizations NGL is proud to support. The River Food Pantry provides hot meals, groceries, clothing and household items to Dane County families who are struggling to make ends meet.
In December, a NGL Customer Support team decided to give back and spread holiday cheer. They created 10 care packages containing a hat, gloves, blanket, hand sanitizer, lotion, tissues and chapstick to donate to The River Food Pantry.
"It was the team's idea to give back and help people in our community. Everyone on the team donated money and thought of items they wanted to include in the care package," shared Carrie Schable, customer service supervisor.
"Making a donation is something that we wanted to do as a team. This is the time of year when everyone is reflecting on the past year and hoping for a better year to come. For someone who is struggling, we wanted them to know that someone does care for them and thought about them this holiday season," said Danielle Lee, account coordinator.
"As we get older, we realize that the holidays aren't just about us. There are people who are in need in our community. It is inspiring and it makes us feel happy and excited knowing that we can help others," said Paul Bennett, senior account coordinator.
"We hope to motivate and encourage others to give back," said Kay Spencer, senior account coordinator. "There was a time when my family didn't have anything for Christmas. For us, we were fortunate to have each other and it was important for us to be together as that was all we had. Now, I'm lucky to be able to offer this care package and provide hope to someone who is struggling."
