National Guardian Life Insurance Company Preneed Single Pay applications no longer require health question

National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) is pleased to announce select Single Pay Preneed applications will be processed as Standard Issue regardless of how the health questions are answered, effective February 15, 2023.

“NGL is focused on being a leader in the Preneed marketplace. With 25 years of industry experience, we are constantly looking for ways to evolve and provide better product offerings for our customers and agents,” said Jeremy Ragsdale, Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at NGL.

Donations for Share Your Holidays campaign benefit Second Harvest Foodbank

NGL proudly supported the 27th Annual NBC15 Share Your Holidays to eliminate hunger campaign to benefit Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. NGL’s $10,000 Bronze sponsorship provided 25,000 meals for people who are struggling with hunger in our community. In addition to NGL’s corporate sponsorship, three of NGL’s team members volunteered during the Grand Finale Phone-A-Thon and seven team members volunteered for the Sort-A-Thon on December 14.

Robert Heins promoted to Regional Vice President, Sales

Robert Heins has been promoted to Regional Vice President, Sales at NGL. Heins joined NGL in 2006 as a Processing Representative and has learned about Preneed and enhanced his expertise through a variety of partner and agent-focused roles during his career. In his new role as Regional Vice President, Sales Heins will focus on developing and enhancing Preneed business development opportunities with NGL’s marketing organizations, independent agents and agencies.

National Guardian Life Insurance Company Commits $100,000 to Establish Scholarships in Memory of Harry Pontone and Mark Hornibrook

Through a partnership with Funeral Service Foundation, NGL announced its commitment of $100,000 to establish two named scholarships in memory of Harry Pontone and Mark Hornibrook. “Harry and Mark have had a tremendous impact on the funeral service industry, and we are honored to remember and celebrate their legacies through these scholarships,” said Knut Olson, NGL President and CEO. “At NGL, we are focused on helping people and we are passionate about serving those around us. These scholarships further define our commitment to the industry and to the dedicated professionals who serve families every day. We are proud to honor Harry and Mark by expanding the Funeral Service Foundation’s scholarship program for funeral service professionals.”
